Popular Comedian & OAP MC Dave Uwakwe has called on the attention of the public to help him get across to the governor of Rivers State, Chief Barrister Nyesom Wike to also gift him a car for trekking from Abia to Rivers State in celebration of the Golden Jubilee in 2017.
MC Dave an ex-corper who served in 2017, in the spirit of celebrating the Golden Jubilee decided to trek from Abia State to Rivers State with the hashtag #IWaka4Rivers. Unfortunately for the ex-corper he was gifted a handkerchief, T. shirt, and a wrist band as an appreciation for his brave act.

Recently, it was reported that the governor elect of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike gifted a brand new Toyota Camry to a man who trekked from Ahoada to Port Harcourt, to celebrate Governor Wike victory in the just concluded election.

MC Dave took to social media to congratulate the governor elect, Nyesom Wike, over his victory in the just concluded election. He also thanked governor Wike for his kind act of gifting his junior trekker, who trekked from Ahoada to Port Harcourt a car and pleads with the governor to also gift him a car for his outstanding love for his State.
He wrote :
"They say when success is in your neighborhood be optimistic that it will visit your home soon, am happy that the Executive Governor of Rivers State Chief Barrister Nyesom Wike just gifted a friend that trekked from Ahoada down to Port Harcourt a car, it explains my 2days of wallowing in the bush in between Abia and Rivers state as I trekked a 116.3 kilometers from Umuahia to Port Harcourt during the Rivers state Golden jubilee isn't in vain...
"Some tag #iwaka4rivers a movement at the wrong timing, others say its a foolish exercise but I will never regret it as my intentions was to express my profound love to the Governor and to the land I was born and raised (Rivers State)
